Heart Worms

My family is taking care of me. I have heart worms &{. Little boy is nursing me here on the couch. Big Man says we are going to the doctor today to get a shot. I hate shots. I have to get two, and then rest for three weeks. Can anybody recommend a good book for me to read as I convalesce?

Last week Big Man got mad at me when I stole his hot dog off the plate. I can't help it. The smells of those rich Hebrew National hot dogs are irresistible. At first I was not going to eat it because I thought it was made of dog meat. I have an issue with that. I read the label and realized it was made from beef. O.K. That is better. So I hopped up and snagged a link and brought it down to eat. Oops. I spilled mustard on the carpet. They took my beef link (I don't like the word hot dog) away and put me out. There ought to be an amendment in the constitution about that in the Dog Bill of Rights. "No stealing a dog's half eaten meal." I'm thinking about producing a button campaign with the local dog's to see if we can't get a movement started. We'll see. For now, I've had a talk with Big Man, and he has agreed to let me finish the meal next time. So things are looking up.

Please pray for me as I recover from these blasted heart worms. I have to be careful not to get congestion in my lungs. Summer coughs are terrible. Bauughhouuh.
