Sitting on the Couch

After my big walk tonight, I got to come inside. All the kids were eating brownies at the table, so I decided to make my move. Mama called me, and I was very quiet. She didn't see me sitting on the couch. I looked at her, but she didn't see me because she thought I might be in the hallway instead. I stayed very quiet, because I like sitting on the couch. Then she turned around. She saw me. She came over and said, "No, no, Dolce." I didn't move, so she had to push me off the couch. Pretty soon I'm going to have to go to my spot for the night. It smells funny because Mama washed my bed today. But I like my spot once I'm in. And mama always gives me a treat when I go in. Yummy.  

My New Home

Owroooohh! My name is Dolce. This is my new blog. I just moved into a new home with the De Harts and they like to blog. They got me blogging too, so, Owrroohhh, worrhhh! I've been getting to know them over the last week. I have buried my chews in the back yard, and even put one on the rocking chair for Big Man to inspect. He has been nice to me and has not spanked me yet, like bad master from long ago.  

I'm getting fatter here. The food is good, and we go on walks everyday. They are so slow! I run and push as fast as I can, but Big Man yanks on my chain, and says, "Heel" all the time. Whatever! 

I've been barking at the neighbor's dogs. There are three other lesser beasts that surround my yard. I've let them know I'm livin' here now.
